If you're an adult planning for your parent's aging journey, or a senior looking towards planning for your own health, The Caregiver Connection Expo is for you. Led by a team of health care professionals, this expo will have over 50 healthcare vendors and services on site to bring better healthcare to you. We want to break down the barriers and help our communities thrive stronger together.

This is an opportunity to meet health businesses in your community and build relationships with professionals who can help you navigate caregiving, the healthcare system, and informed choices to help you live a better life.

ITINERARY

  • All vendors who selected booth spaces will have entrance time at 0800h for set-up.

  • All vendors who selected tables spaces will have entrance time at 0900h for set-up.

  • We are thrilled to welcome all guests. Free admission for our event.

Meet your event hosts

Carly Hickey

ACE Planning Company, Founder

Carly is an experienced Registered Nurse (and Nurse Practitioner graduate student). After witnessing the impacts of a reactive health care system after 12 years in the intensive care unit, Carly is working with community partners to help seniors and families - including the sandwich generation - feel more prepared for the aging, illness and end of life journey ahead.

Danielle Murray

Expert RN Consulting, Founder

Danielle is the founder of Expert RN and Expert RN Lice Management (www.thelicenurse.ca). After working as a Communicable Disease Nurse Specialist across Canada, Danielle decided to return to Ontario and start her own business. In 2024, she was one of the recipients of Halton Region's Starter Company Plus micro grants, and is passionate about creating community for small business owners, healthcare workers, and clients alike. Danielle is also a host of Clinical Connections, a networking group dedicated to supporting independent healthcare workers in the GTA. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, spending time with family, and trying new things!

Vanessa Vargas

PSW to the Rescue, Founder

Vanessa Vargas is the Co-Founder and Client Care Concierge of PSW To The Rescue, a family-owned home care company dedicated to supporting seniors and their families.

 With over 15 years of experience as a Personal Support Worker, Vanessa has built her career around providing compassionate care, building meaningful relationships, and helping individuals maintain their independence and dignity.

  • This event is free to the public. Vendors may secure a table or booth for a fee.

  • Yes, there is ample free parking on site.

  • At this time, there is no food available on site, however we are working to invite food safe vendors who may provide food and beverage services on site. Stay tuned!

  • Most events cater only to seniors. Our event caters to seniors and the needs of the sandwich generation caregivers. We look at families as a whole unit and try to meet the needs of everyone.

  • The event hosts Danielle, Vanessa and Carly will be onsite to support attendees and participants.
